Call us before you call anyone else
Most claim problems are not coverage problems. They are intimation delays, missing documents, wording nobody read at purchase, and a query letter that went unanswered for three weeks. All four are avoidable, and all four are our job — not yours, during a week when you have other things to deal with.
Through the claim
- Intimation
- Filed correctly and within the timelines the policy requires. Late intimation is one of the most common avoidable grounds for repudiation.
- Documentation
- A precise list of what the insurer will ask for, given up front rather than discovered one rejection at a time.
- Liaison
- We deal with the insurer and, where relevant, the surveyor or TPA directly.
- Escalation
- Where a claim stalls or is unfairly resisted, we escalate through the insurer’s grievance channels, and we will tell you plainly when a decision is defensible and when it is not.
- Closure
- Follow-up until settlement, and a note on what to change at renewal.
Honestly, on outcomes
We do not guarantee that a claim will be approved, and you should be sceptical of any intermediary who does. The insurer decides the claim under the policy wording. What we control is that the intimation is timely, the documentation is complete, the wording was understood before you bought, and that nobody at the insurer’s end is waiting on something we could have sent. That is where most claims are won or lost.
